Dinner for the Homeless with Housing Forward

ELH will be preparing dinner for 20-25 at the HF family shelter at St. Christopher’s. Many of us find cooking and serving at these dinners particularly fulfilling, and nothing brought or made goes to waste! If you are interested in volunteering for the dinner, an RSVP is necessary. Please contact cynthia@ELHumanists.org to sign up and coordinate offerings. Show your humanist spirit by feeding the hungry!

Group Outing: Church of Beethoven

Come as you are for classical music, poetry, coffee and good company. “Church” of Beethoven (no religion) meets on the third Sunday of every month. March’s featured musical combo is the Folias Duo, with flutist Carmen Maret and guitarist Andrew Bergeron.  Order tickets in advance or get more info here, or (if not sold out) buy tickets at the door. If you’ve ever wanted to visit this historic white mansion on the corner of Oak Park and Chicago Avenues, here is your chance! Free street parking is available. We’ll probably go to brunch afterward.
